Oppo Find X2 Pro in for review

Oppo’s Find X took the smartphone world by storm back in 2018 with its seamless design. It was a true marvel and nearly two years later is still arguably the prettiest phone ever made. While we had to wait nearly 24 months, Oppo finally delivered a successor with the brand new Find X2 Pro.

Oppo Find X2 Pro in for review

The latest Oppo flagship arrived at our doorstep in its vibrant orange vegan leather trim which is a unique finish and one of the most impressive we’ve come across in recent memory. We are now set to commence our full review procedure as the final production firmware is being seeded to our unit.

Just a single look at the spec sheet and you can immediately notice you’re dealing with a serious flagship here. A curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1440p (1440 x 3168) resolution and an in-display fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 865 SoC is onboard with 12GB RAM and half a terabyte of UFS 3.0 storage.

A properly impressive triple camera setup is also here with a large 1/1.4-inch 48MP main sensor, periscope module with 5x optical zoom and a 48MP 1/2-inch ultra-wide shooter. 65W fast charging, IP68 protection, 5G connectivity: the list goes on and the Find X2 Pro keeps checking out all the boxes.

The 4,260 mAh battery capacity is generous, but we’ll not see how it handles the high refresh rate screen and powerful chipset. The phone also comes with the latest version of Oppo’s own ColorOS 7.1 which sits atop Android 10 and offers a noticeably toned down experience with snappy animations and intuitive gesture navigation.
