Several new certifications have revealed the alleged batteries for the upcoming iPhone 12 series. These come complete with details on their capacities which can help us make an estimated guess at the corresponding iPhone 12 models that will use them.

The three batteries come with the A2471, A2431, and A2466 model numbers and were spotted on China’s 3C agency as well as Safety Korea and The Korea Industrial Technology Laboratory (KTL).

A2471 comes with a 2,227mAh capacity and is expected to power the entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12. Next up is A2431 which packs a slightly larger 2,775mAh charge and should be used for the iPhone 12 Max as well as the iPhone 12 Pro, both of which are rumored to sport a 6.1-inch displays.

The third battery on the list – A2466 comes with a capacity of 3,687mAh and will likely be used on the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. A quick comparison to the iPhone 11 series reveals the new batteries feature lower capacities than their predecessors.

In addition to the battery certifications, a new 20W charger was also spotted on China’s 3C. A recent report from Ming-Chi Kuo brought rumors that Apple might not ship an actual charger or earpods with the iPhone 12 series so this will likely be an optional accessory.

It bears the A2244 model number and will be the fastest charging brick in Apple’s mobile ecosystem as Apple currently boasts an 18W charger with its 11 Pro models. The listing also confirms the charging brick will have a USB-C port.
